I can't enable my microphone and camera after installing Windows 11

You may experience issues while using your microphone, camera, or other apps/services after updating your PC to Windows 11, more specifically when Google Chrome is your browser of choice. Since Windows 11 was developed to protect client privacy even further, the most probable solution for this issue is ensuring that access permissions have been granted to your camera and microphone.

Follow the steps below to verify you've enabled the required access permissions:

1. Open Windows Settings and navigate to the Privacy and Security tab on the left.

2. Scroll down to the App permissions section and go to Camera.

 3. Enable access to the Camera option.
4. Verify that all desktop apps—including Google Chrome—are allowed access to the Camera.
5. Restart your Chrome browser to check if the issue has been resolved.

Note: Please follow the same steps when verifying microphone access permissions.
