How to give audience members permission to mute speakers

In some cases, you might want to give the audience an option to mute a specific speaker or listen to only one speaker out of a group of broadcasters.

To grant this permission:

  1. Begin creating a meeting and go to Advanced Options.
  2. Click on the Audio and Video tabs.
  3. Select the checkbox to enable the option named "Allow users to mute/unmute/solo individual streams locally" as seen below:

After enabling this option, your audience will have the right to mute a specific speaker.



Audience members can also click on any speaker's solo icon 🔊 in the session. This will allow them only to hear one person and mute all other speakers.
