Assigning PhoneSync Configurations to Users

Telephony is configured on a per-user basis. Assign the user a pre-configured PhoneSync Server, a Gateway, and a phone number.

Here's how to do this:

  1. Go to Users in your Admin Settings section of your Account Center
  2. Next, locate the User's that you’d like to assign the PhoneSync Configuration to and click on his or her name.
  3. Click Telephony Details. Enter the information needed and save.

When an admin assigns a Bridge API-enabled phone number to a user, PIN codes typically get automatically assigned via the Bridge API when the user is saved.

 

Quick tip: an admin can optionally create a new set of PIN codes for the user when he wants.
